The U40 Network

The Essential Resource for "Not-So-Senior" Senior Pastors

The Essential Resource for "Not-So-Senior" Senior Pastors

The U40 Network was founded by Matt Hedrick in the fall of 2006.

The vision of the U40 Network is to encourage and assist the young Senior Pastors of the Twin Cities in connecting with each other and older local pastors and with other leaders in ministry. In these dynamic interactions a number of outcomes are envisioned:

1. Key fellowship relationships will be established

2. Valuable resources and wisdom will be shared both formally through educational components, and informally.

3. Mentoring relationships between older Senior Pastors and these younger pastors will allow Kingdom leaders to invest in the next generation of leaders in this city.

4. There will emerge both willingness and opportunity for partnering together to see the Twin Cities transformed by the power of God for the glory of God.

5. As the younger pastors become better equipped to deal with their challenges, and are better sustained by the fellowship the Network provides, they will see many years of fruitful and enjoyable ministry.6. Sustaining relationships, community ministry cooperation, and the availability of a resource and problem-solving forum are likely to influence and empower these pastors to commit to long-term ministry in the Twin Cities area.

7. As these young pastors mature into the influential leaders of the Twin Cities church, they will have life-giving and positive relationships with other pastors, a Kingdom-minded outlook, and a willingness to partner together to bring about transformation within the city.
